Today, we bring you part six of our article on “The Gold From Two Mountains” culled from chapter nine of “The Transformed Mind – Changing the World by Being Changed” authored by Dr. Samuel Koranteng-Pipim and Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee.  Last week we ended on the note that after Moses climbed the first mountain to receive the Ten Commandments, Christ climbed another mountain to explain the meaning of the Ten Codes, called the Sermon on the Mount, found in Matthew Gospel chapters 5, 6 and 7.

A total of 180 students of the University of Ghana were at the weekend awarded for their sterling performance during the 2014/2015 academic year at a ceremony at the Great Hall.

The programme was under the Vice-Chancellor’s Ceremony Academic  Awards, which is held every year to recognise students who excel academically.

The recipients included completed and current students as well as PhD students who performed excellently in their doctoral dissertation from all the colleges of the University; namely the Colleges of Basic and Applied Sciences, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Education.

The awards were sponsored by 47 corporate organisations, and 58 individuals including  Mrs. Lucy   Peprah- Tawiah, an educationist and philanthropist who sponsored four medical and dental students.
