Dr. Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku, Second Deputy Governor, Bank of Ghana, has commended ABii National Savings and Loans for working within the regulations of the bank of Ghana, and expanding its national reach within two years of operation.
He congratulated the company for growing its customer base to over 9,900 with a total asset of GH¢31.41 million within the period.
Dr. Issahaku made these known at the launch of ABii National Savings and Loans at Takoradi last Thursday. He called on financial institutions to make significant contributions in the financial sector to stimulate the growth of the economy.
-Mr. Godfried Osei-Boakye, Managing Director of ABii National, said the Sekondi-Takoradi office branch is the seventh of the bank since it began operations, two years ago.
He mentioned that the bank had products for all business needs. Notable among them are the Asetenapa account, Royal account, Salary advance, Work and pay, Salary loans, Twin accounts and the Church account.
The Omanhene of Wassa Fiase Traditional Area and President of the Western Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefo Dr. Kwamena Enimil VI, who graced the occasion, asked the bank to develop a friendly business relationship with traders and especially market women to grow their businesses through a reasonable interest on loan facilities.
