He was speaking at the presentation of 15 desktop computers to each of the traditional areas in the Volta Region at a ceremony in Ho recently.
The business machines, valued at GH¢50,000, were procured for the traditional councils by the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV to enhance their work.
The beneficiary traditional councils are Asogli, Hokpe, Krachi, Buem and Ve.
The rest are Santrokofi, Nkonya, Peki, Awudome and Gbi.
The remaining are Anlo, Anfoega, Likpe, Tapa and Akpini.
The Volta Regional House of Chiefs was also presented with a colour laser printer.
Togbe Afele, who is also the Megbefia of Asogli, pointed out that the use of computers for secretarial and business activities was a millennium dictate which must be complied in all human endevours for smooth development, “even within the traditional councils”.
